The Faculty of Wood Sciences and Technology belongs to the top educational and scientific organisations in the higher education system of the Slovak Republic. The main Faculty mission is to provide higher education, to develop scientific research and creative activity of art.

DF means the tradition

DF is the largest faculty of TU in Zvolen and has been providing quality higher education since 1952. Long-term experience is a guarantee of quality.

DF is the uniqueness

Study programs of the branch Wood Sciences and Technology provided by DF are not available at any other university in Slovakia.

We educate not only wood experts and wood constructers, but also economists, designers and fire protection specialists.
