SlovenčinaThe Faculty of Wood Sciences and Technology as the only one in Slovakia provides university education in study programmes focused on wood processing, furniture design and construction, wooden construction, but also economics and management of woodworking industries, furniture and interior design, and fire protection and security. For all study programmes, except design, we will accept you without entrance exams, according to the results from the secondary school.
The tuition is based on study programmes accredited from the academic year 2015/2016 in Bachelor, Master and PhD Studies. Most of the study programmes can be studied in part-time form.
Our regular polls of applicability confirm, that our graduates have no problem finding a job after graduation. You can customize your study and build your subjects timetable according to what you enjoy and care about. You have to choose from the obligatory elective and selective subjects of the whole faculty, respectively, the University.
