Since it is better to live it then read about it hundred times, the next theoretical study will be easier.
Practical knowledge and skills are one of the areas in which we will prepare you. We are here to give you, in addition to the theoretical knowledge, practical skills. Under the so-called " The main exercises” you will be directly involved in the production process every semester, you will be introduced the most advanced technologies and real processes in companies, visit reputable companies to try practical tasks. You can also complete "the main exercises" at companies you choose yourself. In simulated projects, we will enable you to solve the problems of production and non-production practice.
Technologies and procedures, learnt form the University textbooks, can be tried directly in the University Workshops and Laboratories, where you can produce, for example, tangible piece of furniture. Future designers spend their days in the design studios and transform their designs also in the University Workshops.
Wooden constructions students are testing their skills during the KOZU field project "COnstruct ZUberec".
Moreover, the faculty has many partners between companies and institutions, in cooperation with which our students solve Bachelor's and Master's theses.
