Student Scientific Activity

Annually organized international student conference enables students to present the results of their scientific work in the  various research fields, to demonstrate their presentation abilities and to test their argumentation skills. In addition, the best presentations will be awarded by valuable prizes.

What do you need to do, if you are interested in the ŠVOČ?

Just think about a topic you want to focuse on and contact a teacher who is a specialist in the selected field. Then work on the chosen topic, carry out the necessary research under the guidance of an experienced consultant, process the results and formulate the conclusions. The filling in and sending of the registration form, paying the subscription fee and preparing the project according to the instructions in the template are the conditions for the participation in the conference. The submitted works should have the character of the original scientific work.

The participation in the ŠVOČ gives you an opportunity to gain valuable experience that can be usefull for the defense of the final thesis, in a further study or in your future job. In addition, you can benefit from the offer of publishing your work in the faculty scientific journal Acta Facultatis Xylologiae Zvolen registered in the database Scopus and Web of Science.
